Defensive Line | Week 13 IDP Waiver Wire

Tyree Wilson | DL | Las Vegas Raiders

The Las Vegas Raiders have shifted their focus to the 2025 NFL Draft and the franchise’s next quarterback selection. Much like Dynasty Fantasy Football, they are seeing who will be the most likely to be on their roster starting next season. As of late, they have been playing their 2023 1st Round EDGE rusher Tyree Wilson.

The former Texas Tech product struggled with injuries and inconsistent play during his rookie season. Wilson collected 3.5 sacks last season and finished with double-digit fantasy points in 22.2% of his games. The Raiders young EDGE rusher has 3 sacks this season and has surpassed double-digit fantasy points in 3 of his last 4 games. He has 8 pressures and 3 sacks over that span and has posted a 58.4 pass-rush grade this season (Pro Football Focus). Tyree Wilson could add value to an IDP manager’s roster as they look for production in the playoffs.

Linebacker | Week 13 IDP Waiver Wire

Devin Bush | LB | Cleveland Browns

IDP managers know how difficult it has been to add valuable linebackers this season. At this point, a significant injury to a reliable starter would be the only realistic scenario to land a starter on your roster. Devin Bush is a player that was mentioned ahead of Week 6 this season. The former 1st-round pick has seen an increase in playing time in spurts this season. Bush has played 51% of the team’s defensive snaps this season. However, he has only seen a 70% snap share in 4 games and that number in back-to-back games just once.

Devin Bush has been more reliable recently, with 22 tackles and 1 sack over his last 3 games. The veteran LB has been the LB34 in fantasy points per game from Week 10 onward. The inconsistency of snaps at the position for the Cleveland Browns raises concern, but IDP managers can use this as added depth in hopes that he continues to earn more snaps.

Defensive Back | Week 13 IDP Waiver Wire

Coby Bryant | DB | Seattle Seahawks

Coby Bryant has slowly become a favorite for the IDP Nerds brand. He was mentioned after Week 9 as a top option at the defensive back position. In that write-up, I mentioned that even after DB Rayshawn Jenkins returns from injury, there’s potential that Bryant may keep the starting job. In Week 12, Jenkins played a 50% defensive snapshare, but most of that was as a rotational matchup player. Coby Bryant remained the starting safety, playing 100% of the defensive snaps for the 4th-consecutive game.

Since Week 7, Coby Bryant has been the DB7 in FPPG. The third-year safety has averaged 6.8 tackles per game, including 2 interceptions and 1 defensive touchdown. The Seattle defender finished as the 5th highest-scoring DB in Week 12, and it still amazes me to see his name on dynasty waiver wires. Bryant is a player who can carry value for your dynasty teams well past the 2024 season, and he should be the starter for the Seattle defense going forward.

Best of the Rest | Week 13 IDP Waiver Wire

Michael Hoecht | DL | Los Angeles Rams

Michael Hoecht has been a productive defensive lineman with 6 tackles in back-to-back games. The Rams defender has been a consistent tackler, which can be reliable for IDP managers who need depth at the DL position heading into the playoffs. Hoecht has played 60% of the defensive snaps in 3 consecutive games. He has finished with at least 4 tackles or 0.5 sacks in 63.6% of his games this season (Sleeper). I like making a move of this magnitude as you approach the fantasy playoffs. QB sacks can become more challenging to rely on for IDP managers, and finding a player at DL who can offer a safe tackle floor like this is rare.

Kamu Grugier-Hill | LB | Minnesota Vikings

The graveyard that is the IDP dynasty fantasy football waiver wire when you sort by LB is painful. An injury to Minnesota Vikings LB Ivan Pace has opened a path for veteran Kamu Grugier-Hill. I wouldn’t urge IDP managers to rush to add the LB, as the Minnesota defense is a system that only benefits 1 every-down-linebacker. Blake Cashman will remain that player as long as he remains healthy. Kamu Grugier-Hill has played for 6 teams in his last 6 seasons, mainly as a rotational LB. He will not be used in the same role as Ivan Pace, but he should see around a 50-60% defensive snapshare, which could add some value to deeper dynasty leagues.

Mike Brown | DB | Tennessee Titans

The Tennessee Titans defense turned to former Miami (OH) safety as their starter after veteran Quandre Diggs was sent to injured reserve in Week 9. Mike Brown had just 7 tackles over his first 2 seasons. He has collected 22 tackles since taking over as the starting safety.

He has spent most of his defensive snaps as a deep safety; however, he has seen at least 10 snaps as a box safety in 4-straight games. Mike Brown is not an overly productive DB for your dynasty roster and is likely a bye-week fill-in at best. He is a DB who will continue to see an every-down role and can be a decent streaming option if needed.

Players to Monitor | Week 13 IDP Waiver Wire

Jalen Pitre | DB | Houston Texans

A brutal late-season injury to Houston Texans defensive back Jalen Pitre. The Texans DB has finished with double-digit fantasy points in 9 of 12 games this season. According to Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans, the former University of Baylor DB suffered a torn pectoral and will be out multiple weeks.

The Houston defense will once again turn to veteran safety Eric Murray who filled in for injured safety Jimmie Ward for most of the season. Murray has 40 tackles, 1 sack, and 1 interception on the season. Jalen Pitre played many of his snaps as a slot defender, and Murray will likely play a more traditional safety role with more snaps coming as a box safety. IDP managers will have to deal with the downgrade in production. Still, Murray has proven to be a serviceable option if you are desperate.
