WEEK 13 IDP START/SIT
DL | START | Week 13 IDP Start/Sit
Harold Landry | DL | Tennessee Titans
Harold Landry has been less consistent than IDP managers would have liked this season. The former Boston College Eagle had 4 sacks in his first 4 games, but has only managed 2 sacks in his last 7 games. Thankfully, he has become more consistent as a tackler, averaging 4.5 tackles per game.
According to Pro Football Focus, the Tennessee Titans EDGE rusher ranks just 153rd in pass rush win rate (4.5%). Despite not being his best season, Landry is the DL13 in fantasy points per game among qualifying defensive linemen. I like his chances to bounce back this week against the Washington Commanders, who allow the 10th-most tackles per game to the DL position. The Commanders’ offensive line allowed 4 sacks last week and has allowed 3 defensive linemen to finish with top-24 performances over the past 2 weeks (Sleeper). IDP managers should feel confident starting Harold Landry in Week 13.
LB | START | Week 13 IDP Start/Sit
Christian Rozeboom | LB | Los Angeles Rams
We will stay on brand for a player who has brought us production all season. Christian Rozeboom has been great for IDP managers who were able to acquire him off waivers, as we recommended ahead of Week 4. The Los Angeles Rams linebackers are some of the most undesirable in the league, but the production has been consistent. Rozeboom is the LB37 in FPPG this season, and he stepped up big when veteran Troy Reeder landed on injured reserve earlier this season.
Christian Rozeboom has recorded 10 tackles or more in 3 of his last 4 games. He has averaged 9 tackles per game over that span and ranks as the LB8 in FPPG from Week 9 on. He draws a good match for IDP managers in Week 13 against the New Orleans Saints, who surrendered a top-12 performance in their last game. The Saints offense has allowed 16.7 tackles per game to the LB position over their past 3 games; with Christian Rozeboom playing the bulk of the snaps for the Rams defense, he should be in line for another double-digit tackle game.
DB | START | Week 13 IDP Start/Sit
Chuck Clark | DB | New York Jets
The New York Jets received a nice boost to their secondary ahead of their Week 12 BYE with the return of Chuck Clark. The veteran safety returned to the lineup the week prior after missing 5-straight games. Clark played 99% of the defensive snaps and recorded 6 tackles.
The Seattle Seahawks are a top-10 option for opposing safeties, allowing 13.5 tackles per game. Seattle allowed 16 tackles to the Arizona Cardinal starting safeties in Week 12, and both players finished as the top-13 options at the defensive back position. Chuck Clark should be able to continue being a high-volume tackler and reward IDP managers this week.
DT | START | Week 13 IDP Start/Sit
Christian Barmore | DT | New England Patriots
Christian Barmore has been back for 2 games since missing the first 10 games of the season. The former Alabama interior defensive lineman wasted no time recording his first sack in Week 12. He played a season-high 51% of the defensive snaps last game and is poised to see more playing time. Barmore has collected 5 tackles and 1 sack in just 56 snaps this season.
Barmore should be able to have another good day against the Indianapolis Colts, who have allowed over 18 tackles per game to the DL position this season. IDP managers who have been stashing Christian Barmore on IR all season can get the most out of him now that he’s back.
Streaming Options | Week 13 IDP START/sit
The Week 13 IDP streaming options at DT are Milton Williams of the Philadelphia Eagles. Williams has 5 tackles, 3 sacks, 1 forced fumble, and 1 fumble recovery in his last 3 games. The Baltimore Ravens allow the third-fewest sacks per game (1.3) this season; however, they surrender the sixth-most tackles (17.9) to the position. Ed Oliver also steps into a good matchup this week. The Buffalo Bills DT has been very inefficient this season but does face the San Francisco 49ers, who are a top-10 matchup for opposing defensive linemen. I’m going with my gut here that Oliver finally has a breakout game like we’ve seen from him in the past.
CB | START | Week 13 IDP Start/Sit
Marcus Jones | CB | New England Patriots
Marcus Jones has been one of the hottest players at the cornerback position in IDP fantasy football. The Patriots CB is tied for 21st in targets this season and has posted an 84.1 run defense grade (Pro Football Focus). Jones has finished with double-digit fantasy points in 5-consecutive games. The Patriots DB has been the CB11 since Week 8. IDP managers can expect his consistent play to continue.
Your IDP Week 13 cornerback streaming options start with Ugo Amadi, a player we liked on waivers after Week 10. Since taking over the starting role, Amadi has had back-to-back games of 10 fantasy points or more and has recorded 17 tackles over 2 starts.
Jaycee Horn also has a solid matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this week. Horn has 14 tackles and 1 sack in his last 2 games. Tampa Bay is a top-5 option for opposing cornerbacks this season. Horn has history on his side and has recorded double-digit fantasy points in his last 2 games against the Buccaneers.

DL | SIT | Week 13 IDP start/SIT
Leonard Floyd | DL | San Francisco 49ers
Leonard Floyd has a revenge game scenario on his hands this week, but frankly, he’s played for so many teams that it’s hard to keep track of. Floyd has been excellent over his past 2 games, recording 3.5 sacks. The veteran EDGE rusher has always been a sack-dependent IDP asset, which has continued with the 49ers.
The Buffalo Bills’ offensive line is my biggest concern for Floyd in Week 13. Buffalo leads the NFL in allowing just 1.2 sacks per game. Leonard Floyd’s tackle floor is not safe enough to believe he can still be a productive starter this week without registering a sack. IDP managers can find a safer option in a must-win scenario as the playoffs are set to start.
LB | SIT | Week 13 IDP Start/Sit
Lavonte David | LB | Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Don’t get me wrong, there’s a vital place for veteran linebackers in IDP fantasy football—especially players as productive in the long term as players like Lavonte David have been. The Tampa Bay every-down LB is on pace for his 3rd-consecutive 100-tackle season and his 8th-consecutive season with 90 tackles or more.
Lavonte David will give you a very safe tackle floor, but with the fantasy playoffs in mind, he could hurt your chances this week to swing a matchup in your favor. The Carolina Panthers have been a nightmare of a matchup for linebackers this season. David has only posted one game over 15 fantasy points since 2021 against the Panthers. If you have higher upside options this week, consider them.
DB | SIT | Week 13 IDP Start/Sit
Kam Curl | DB | Los Angeles Rams
IDP Nerds, we pick on the Los Angeles Rams safeties for a second week. It’s not on purpose, I promise; the youth movement in the Rams secondary school is the main reason. Over the past month, we have seen more of Kamren Kinchens and Jaylen McCollough, who has been highly productive. The most significant impact has been on Kamren Curl, who has been dealing with injuries and adjusting to a new defensive system.
Kam Curl has been relegated to a tackle-dependent DB position. The former Washington Commanders DB is on pace for his lowest tackle and worst coverage grade seasons. The Rams Week 13 matchup is against the New Orleans Saints, who have allowed the 6th-fewest tackles per game to opposing safeties this season. IDP managers can find many streaming options, especially at the DB position.

Roster Management | Week 13 IDP Start/Sit
We shift our focus this late in the season to which rookies are making an impact. Even for those contending IDP managers, it’s nice to know if you have rookies on your taxi squad who can be impactful for your playoff run. Depending on how healthy your team has stayed throughout the season, you can sometimes forget how much depth you have at a given position. We don’t expect much from rookies on the IDP side, but paying attention to their playing time and overall production can keep you ahead of your league mates.
The IDP managers not projected to be a playoff team should be extra aggressive in acquiring those promising rookies. It’s innovative business to use offensive depth pieces to set yourself up for a better draft pick and acquire some rookies who you might like heading into the next season. IDP managers need to know that we play a game without off-season, and being an active trade partner will make your league mates always want to make deals with you.
