Takeaway #1: CJ Stroud Is a Top-10 Quarterback
After throwing for an NFL rookie record of 470 yards, Stroud has officially cemented himself as a top-10 dynasty quarterback. This year, Stroud has been the best rookie quarterback, which has caused him to jump up to the QB7 on KeepTradeCut. It’s not surprising to see this rise from Stroud after he scored 41.8 points in week nine, bringing his PPG total to 19.7.

Right now, the quarterbacks ranked behind Stroud are Trevor Lawrence, Tua Tagovailoa, and Anthony Richardson. These quarterbacks are all fairly similar, but it’s almost certain that Stroud should be ranked ahead of guys like Kyler Murray and Bryce Young after what we’ve seen this year.
#2: Jonathan Taylor Is Elite
For those concerned about Zack Moss in relation to Taylor, you can relax now. He is again the bellcow after seeing 45 snaps and 18 carries in week nine. After seeing a significant workload for most of the year, Moss only saw 13 snaps with seven carries.
With this workload, Taylor crushed. He had 17.9 fantasy points, making him an excellent option for contenders and restoring his dynasty value.
#3: Dalton Kincaid Continues to Rise
Kincaid had a rough start to the season playing behind Dawson Knox but finally began to break out. All it took was a Knox injury for Kincaid to start crushing weekly. Since taking over as the starter, Kincaid is averaging 16.37 PPG.
Although Kincaid never should have dropped in dynasty rankings, he’s on the rise once again. He is a phenomenal receiver playing with Josh Allen, which makes him a top dynasty tight end.
#4: Josh Dobbs Is a Buy for 2023 Contenders
It was expected that Dobbs would start for the Vikings sooner rather than later, but no one thought it would be this fast. After Jaren Hall was injured, Dobbs led the Vikings to a win on less than a week of practice. Dobbs finished his fantasy day with 24.92 points, bringing his season total to 16.6 PPG.

Although Dobbs was viewed as nothing for dynasty with the Cardinals, he’s now the starting quarterback on an offense with excellent weapons. Dobbs is currently the QB15 on a PPG basis, making him a high-end QB2 in a superflex format. If you’re a contender needing a QB2, buy Dobbs right now.
#5: Contenders Rejoice: Aaron Jones Is Back
Jones was expected to be limited once again, but instead, he had his breakout week with 17.9 points. Jones jumped up to 20 carries and this workload should continue for the rest of the season.
For contenders, it’s encouraging to see this type of usage and production from Jones already. Jones is still a highly productive player when healthy despite playing in this bad Packers offense. The question is if Jones can stay healthy enough to lead contenders to a championship.
#6: Will Levis Falls Back Down to Earth
Levis looked unbelievable in his first NFL game but had a rough 8.68-point game on Thursday Night Football. After seeing Levis struggle on national TV, owners will be overreacting and calling him a flash in the pan. However, we all knew Levis was a project quarterback to begin with. There’s going to be ups and downs along the way.
In reality, Levis wasn’t even that bad, as he threw for 262 yards. The issue was his 56% completion perception and throwing an interception without a touchdown. With that said, I’m not changing my mind about Levis after seeing him flash his potential in week eight.
#7: Jaxon Smith-Njigba Leads the Seahawks in Targets
Even with the return of DK Metcalf, Jaxon Smith-Njigba had another solid fantasy game. Smith-Njigba only had 12.3 points, but the underlying numbers are very encouraging. In week nine, Smith-Njigba led the Seahawks with seven targets and only ran four fewer routes than the team leader, Tyler Lockett.
Everyone knows that Smith-Njigba will be great in the long run, even after his slow start to the year. That said, all signs point to a Smith-Njigba breakout this year, which will make his value skyrocket.
#8: Arthur Smith Hates Fantasy Football
Smith has come out and trashed fantasy football multiple times to the media already this season. Smith still doesn’t see the issue with not using his high draft picks and wonders why he’s losing games.
We all know how badly Kyle Pitts is being screwed out of his potential because of the Jonnu Smith usage. Well, it looks like Bijan Robinson will be another victim. In week nine, Tyler Allgeier had more carries than Robinson, causing outrage from fantasy managers everywhere.
#9: Bo Nix Could Be a Sneaky NFL Starter
Nix isn’t being talked about like these other top quarterback prospects, but he’s being projected to land in the early second round. This past week, Nix had another big game with six total touchdowns against California, causing his stock to rise even more.

According to Tankathon, Nix is projected to land with the Buccaneers at pick 39, which could be a sneaky good landing spot. Baker Mayfield isn’t the long-term answer, and I could easily see Nix becoming an NFL starter one to two years into his career.
#10: Look Out for Jayden Daniels
Daniels could be the biggest sleeper quarterback in the 2024 rookie class. He looks great from the box score, throwing for 2792 yards, 27 touchdowns, and four interceptions. However, he doesn’t make many progressions, likely making him a third-round pick.
That said, Daniels has a lot more upside than the other quarterbacks in his range due to his rushing upside. This year, he already has 684 rushing yards, which is remarkable considering that quarterbacks lose rushing yards with sacks in college. Daniels may not pan out to be an NFL starter, but if he does, his ceiling and floor will be extremely high because of his rushing ability.
