The Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills face off on Thursday Night Football (TNF). Look for Buffalo to continue to search for the number one target in the offense. Expect the offense to continue to run through Josh Allen. Miami has not fared well against Buffalo under the Tua Tagovailoa era. We will see if the passing game can stay on track after a fantastic Week 1. All eyes will be on the Dolphins backfield as health concerns for DeVon Achane makes him a game time decision in Week 2.

Game Day Facts
- Tua Tagovailoa‘s average points per game versus Buffalo (12.8) falls far below his Week 1 play of 18.6.
- We could see more Josh Allen running as he is currently over his career average of seven carries per game.

Game Day Facts
- Injury Report – Raheem Mostert is OUT, and DeVon Achane is a game-time decision for Thursday.
- Look toward Jaylen Wright and Jeff Wilson as possible options if Achane & Mostert both miss Week 2. Both would be considered RB3s with upside in a favorable matchup.
- James Cook is averaging 60% of the backfield workload, but don’t be surprised that on a short week, Ray Davis sees an increase in his three rush attempts.
Wide Receivers
Player | Week 2 Ranking | Confidence Start Rating | WR vs Def Rank | Def Avg. Rec Yards | Avg Targets | Avg Target Share | Fantasy Rank (PPR) | Fantasy Points Per Game | Slot % | Avg Offensive Snaps | Avg Routes Run |

Jaylen Waddle | Low End WR2 | 100% | 5 | 13.51% | 16th | 16.2 | 22% | 72% | 27 |
Game Day Fact
- While we still don’t know who the Bills top receivers are, Khalil Shakir‘s high slot snap % should give him a boost against Dolphins’ slot corner Kader Kohou.
- Don’t be discouraged by Jaylen Waddle‘s low target share; he should be able to bounce back closer to the 2023 average of 23.4%.
- Tyreek Hill has averaged 60 yards in 4 games as a member of the Dolphins against the Bills. If Hill can see more slot work against the Bills backup slot corner, he may have a dominant game.
Tight Ends

Jonnu Smith | TE2 | 10% | 18th | 42 | 2 | 5.4 % | 41th | 1.7 | 71% | 28% | 14 |
Game Day Facts
- Don’t turn away from Dalton Kincaid after Week 1. He still played 84% of the offensive snaps and was second on the team in routes run.
- Jonnu Smith was nonexistent in Week 1. He played third in offensive snaps among Miami tight ends. But the Bills top slot corner, Taron Johnson, is OUT. Smith played 71% of his snaps from inside the slot. If he sees more snaps, he could take advantage of the matchup.
