Justin Herbert – Broken Index Finger, Season Ending
Herbert suffered his second broken finger of the season. This one is on the index finger to the throwing hand, which is exceptionally important when throwing a football. Herbert received surgery and was placed on injured reserve Tuesday, thus ending his season. He could be a great buy-low candidate this offseason as he has struggled with injuries now two years in a row but finished the fantasy regular season tied for 4th in the most QB1 weeks.

CJ Stroud – Concussion, 1 Week
Most NFL players are missing one week following a concussion this year. I expect the Texans to exercise caution with their budding superstar quarterback. I am projecting a Week 16 return.
Jerome Ford – Wrist, Week to Week
X-rays were negative on Ford’s wrist, which is great news for fantasy managers. He may have some stiffness/soreness that may limit his catching abilities this week, but you have to start him if he’s active.
Josh Jacobs – Knee, 1-2 Weeks
Jacobs appeared to hyperextend his knee in Week 14 and did not return. At this point, specifics on the severity of the injury are unknown. Given the short week the Raiders have, Jacobs should be expected to sit in Week 15. Watch his practice participation reports following TNF and make adjustments accordingly.
Alexander Mattison – High Ankle Sprain, 3-4 Weeks
Based on the video, this appeared to be a high ankle sprain. This typically takes about 3-4 weeks to return from; however, at this point, we do not have confirmation of the severity. I would plan on alternative options over the next two weeks. Should Mattison suit up in Week 17, look for better options.

Officially questionable with ankle but see why unlikely to return https://t.co/ONbppN4EPB pic.twitter.com/2irDvMeYtq
Nico Collins – Calf Strain, 2-3 Weeks
These types of injuries can linger, so it would not be surprising for Collins to miss multiple weeks. It’s worth noting that he dealt with this injury earlier this year and appeared to have aggravated it in Week 14. It’s plausible for Collins to miss the next two weeks and maybe more.
Tyreek Hill – Sprained Ankle, Week to Week
After sustaining an ankle sprain in Monday night’s game, Tyreek sat for a considerable amount of time. He was clearly missed, as the offense looked anemic until he could return. Tyreek was notably on the sideline for the last drive, suggesting his ankle was still bothersome. Watch his practice participation this week. It would not be surprising to see him sit Week 15 with the plan to return in Week 16. If he does play Week 15, I would expect a similar ~50% snap share that he saw on MNF.

Concern for left high ankle sprain.
He wound up jogging off the field but could be adrenaline.
Currently not being looked at by trainers, but he’s just standing off on the sideline. pic.twitter.com/4vQVz0XZoA
Justin Jefferson – Chest/Ribs, Week to Week
Jefferson took a nasty hit during Week 14, prompting a hospital visit following the game. Everything checked out okay, and he is questionable for Week 15. The Vikings also have nothing to play for, so I expect them to be cautious with their star wide receiver. I am expecting him to miss Week 15 and return for Week 16
