NFL Draft Prospects in Action

Friday Night NFL Draft Prospects

#20 UNLV @ #10 Boise State | Mountain West

Friday, 12/6 | 8:00 PM ET | FOX

#20 UNLV

Ricky White III | #1 | WR | 2025 | 6’1” | 190 lbs.

Most of the country will be tuning into this game to watch Boise State’s Ashton Jeanty run the ball. However, when UNLV is on offense, be sure to keep your eyes on #11 for the Rebels. Ricky White III is one of the lesser-known 2025 NFL Draft prospects, but you’ll want to remember his name. He has tremendous straight-line speed, but is more than a speedy wide receiver. White is very strong in contested-catch situations and is dynamic with the ball in his hands after the catch.

#10 Boise State

Ashton Jeanty | #2 | RB | 2025 | 5’9” | 215 lbs.

One player who is doing anything but flying under the radar is Boise State’s Ashton Jeanty. He currently has the second-best odds (behind Colorado’s Travis Hunter) to win the Heisman trophy. But that’s about the only thing he isn’t leading. Jeanty has been spectacular this season, leading the country in virtually all meaningful rushing categories. While we don’t often see running backs taken in the first round of the NFL Draft, my RB1 has a good chance of being an outlier. All eyes will be on Ashton Jeanty to see if he can carry the Broncos into the College Football Playoff.

Tulane @ #24 Army | American Athletic

Friday, 12/6 | 8:00 PM ET | ABC

Tulane

Mario Williams | #4 | WR | 2025 | 5’9” | 178 lbs.

I expect most of the country to be watching the Mountain West championship game, but if you happen to find yourself watching this game, the most-likely NFL prospect is wide receiver Mario Williams. If that name sounds familiar, it’s because he’s been on a few different college teams at this point. The former 4-star prospect started his collegiate career at Oklahoma before transferring to USC prior to ending up at Tulane. So, if Williams is going to resurrect any NFL Draft value, he’ll need to do it in this game.

Saturday Afternoon NFL Draft Prospects

#16 Iowa State @ #15 Arizona State | Big 12

Saturday, 12/6 | 12:00 PM ET | ABC

#16 Iowa State

Jaylin Noel | #13 | WR | 2025 | 5’11” | 200 lbs.

Iowa State has a duo of 2025 wide receiver prospects that may not be household names, but they are absolutely players you want to know. The first, Jaylin Noel, is an electric weapon with the ball in his hands. He is quick in and out of his breaks and can create separation at all levels of the field. Noel is a Tier 4 wide receiver for me in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Jayden Higgins | #9 | WR | 2025 | 6’4” | 215 lbs.

Unlike the aforementioned Noel, Jayden Higgins is a big-bodied receiver who runs crisp routes, has very good hands, and moves well for his size. If Iowa State is going to pull off the upset, I expect Higgins and Noel to be heavily involved. I have Higgins a few spots lower in my 2025 wide receiver rankings, but they are both firmly in Tier 4.

#15 Arizona State

Cam Skattebo | #4 | RB | 2025 | 5’11” | 215 lbs.

Arizona State’s College Football Playoff hopes rest squarely on the shoulders of their senior leader, Cam Skattebo. Skattebo has done just about everything for ASU during his time in Tempe, AZ. He is flirting with 2,000 all-purpose yards this year. My hesitation with Skattebo is if he has enough athleticism to be an impact player at the NFL level. The pre-draft process will be particularly important for him.

Jordyn Tyson | #0 | WR | 2025 | 6’1” | 195 lbs. ***INJURED***

Sadly, Arizona State’s top receiving weapon, Jordyn Tyson, broke his collarbone last week against the University of Arizona. It would be interesting to see if Tyson decides to come back for another year or head to the NFL. I expect him to return to the Sun Devils for one more year. However, whenever Tyson chooses to come out, he’ll be someone to have on your radar.

#5 Georgia @ #2 Texas | SEC

Saturday, 12/6 | 4:00 PM ET | ABC

#5 Georgia

Carson Beck | #15 | QB | 2025 | 6’4” | 220 lbs.

Carson Beck is currently my QB3 for the 2025 class. However, his stock is trending in the wrong direction. After a strong start to the season, Beck has been inconsistent at best. I still believe there is a good chance that he will be drafted in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft. This matchup against Texas is a great opportunity for Beck to rebound his NFL Draft stock.

Oscar Delp | #4 | TE | 2025 | 6’5” | 245 lbs.

The other name to know for Georgia is Oscar Delp. His 2024 season has been the inverse of Carson Beck. After being held scoreless into November, Delp has scored four touchdowns over his last three games. Georgia is known for producing top-tier tight-end talent, and Delp seems to be the next man up. He is currently my TE 10 in this class but he has the physical tools to be a fantasy asset in the NFL.

#2 Texas

Quinn Ewers | #3 | QB | 2025 | 6’2” | 210 lbs.

It’s not often that a potential 1st Round NFL Draft selection at quarterback isn’t the best QB prospect on his own team. But, that’s exactly what we have for the Texas Longhorns. Ewers has dropped all the way down to QB6 in the 2025 class for me. However, because there is a large drop-off after the top 2 (Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders and Miami’s Cam Ward), Ewers could play his way back into the QB3 discussion. This game against Georgia will be very telling for Quinn Ewers’ future. It will either be redemption for being benched against the Bulldogs earlier this year, or it may lead to him transferring rather than declaring.

Isaiah Bond | #7 | WR | 2025 | 5’11” | 180 lbs.

This game features numerous former 5-star recruits and future 1st-Round NFL Draft selections. However, the fastest player on the field might be Isaiah Bond. He has blazing speed to run past defenders as well as lightning quickness to create separation from them. I have Bond as a Tier 2 wide receiver and my WR8 overall in this class.

Gunnar Helm | #85 | TE | 2025 | 6’5” | 250 lbs.

Gunnar Helm is in the midst of a breakout season. Heading into this game, Helm is leading Texas in receptions and yards receiving, and is second in the team in touchdowns. He has flashed impressive athleticism both at the catch-point as well as in the open field after the catch. I think that Gunnar Helm will be a mid-round pick in the NFL Draft but if he goes to a favorable situation, his TE6 ranking in the 2025 class will be too conservative.

Saturday Night NFL Draft Prospects

#17 Clemson @ #8 SMU | ACC

Saturday, 12/6 | 8:00 PM ET | ABC

#17 Clemson

Antonio Williams | #0 | WR | 2025 | 5’11” | 190 lbs.

This isn’t the matchup for the ACC Championship that many of us expected to see. But, while we aren’t getting the teams we anticipated, we get an opportunity to watch some NFL Draft prospects that we might not otherwise see as often. Antonio Williams is a wide receiver who can fit into any system and in any role. He runs clean routes, demonstrating good footwork at the top of his breaks. Williams is a natural catcher of the ball and displays great body control to make off-frame receptions.

Cade Klubnik | #2 | QB | 2025 | 6’2” | 210 lbs.

Cade Klubnik is another player who could declare for the NFL Draft this year but might do better to return to college for one more season. While he’s put up career-bests in completion percentage, yards, and touchdowns, Klubnik has struggled to consistently put out NFL-level performances each week. If he does return for the 2025 season, expect Klubnik to be in the 1st Round discussion for the 2026 NFL Draft.

#8 SMU

RJ Maryland | #82 | TE | 2025 | 6’4” | 233 lbs.

The main NFL Draft prospect to watch while SMU has the ball is their tight end, RJ Maryland. He doesn’t have particularly impressive receiving production this year, but production at the TE position doesn’t always correlate to success in the NFL. RJ Maryland is an interesting prospect in that his size is somewhere between a TE and WR at the NFL level. His fantasy outlook will largely depend on how he is viewed by the team that drafts him.

#3 Penn State @ #1 Oregon | Big 10

Saturday, 12/6 | 8:00 PM ET | CBS

#3 Penn State

Nicholas Singleton | #10 | RB | 2025 | 6’0” | 227 lbs.

One of the top names for 2025 rookie drafts is running back Nicholas Singleton. While he has underwhelmed this year as a rusher, Singleton has demonstrated his receiving prowess, with 33 receptions so far in the year. I have him slotted as my RB5 right now, but I expect Singleton to destroy the NFL Combine and possibly rise up draft boards.

Drew Allar | #15 | QB | 2025 | 6’5” | 238 lbs.

Drew Allar entered the 2024 season with hopes of rebounding his NFL Draft stock. After the regular season, he’s done exactly that. He has been more efficient this year, completing over 71% of his passes. However, he’s hardly thrown the ball compared to many other QB prospects. His 285 attempts are 80th in the country. I expect Allar to come back for the 2025 season with the hopes of being the QB1 in the 2026 NFL Draft.

Tyler Warren | #44 | TE | 2025 | 6’6” | 257 lbs.

Perhaps the most impactful player in this game is Penn State’s do-it-all tight end, Tyler Warren. His 81 receptions and 978 receiving yards lead the Nittany Lions by a mile. I have Warren as my TE2 in this class, but it is a toss-up with Michigan’s Colston Loveland. You can expect to see Tyler Warren utilized all over the field on Saturday and quite possibly be the first TE off the board by the time the 2025 NFL Draft gets here.

#1 Oregon

Evan Stewart | #7 | WR | 2025 | 6’0” | 175 lbs.

On the other side of the field, Oregon has a handful of 2025 NFL Draft prospects to know. The first, and possibly hardest to evaluate, is wide receiver Evan Stewart. After seemingly getting himself back on track down the stretch, he put up an abysmal 1-catch, 4-yard performance last week against Washington. I am still a firm believer in Stewart’s talent, but his consistency (or lack thereof) is a concern.

Tez Johnson | #15 | WR | 2025 | 5’10” | 165 lbs.

Unlike his teammate, Tez Johnson has been very reliable this season. He is a lighting-quick receiver that is a nightmare for defenses to cover. If Johnson was a bigger prospect, he would be much higher than WR14 in my 2025 NFL Draft prospects rankings. Unfortunately, it’s hard to trust that someone at 165 pounds can both be an impact player in the NFL and stay healthy for any prolonged period of time.

Jordan James | #20 | RB | 2025 | 5’10” | 210 lbs.

The last player I’ll be watching in the Big 10 Championship is junior running back, Jordan James. He’s been a late riser in my 2025 RB Rankings (currently RB13). However, he continues to rise as we get closer to the end of the season. James has great acceleration and quickness to get into and through small openings in the defense, as well as the ability to catch passes out of the backfield. It wouldn’t shock me if he ends up somewhere in the back half of my top-10 RBs.
