NFL Draft Prospects Highlight

Nicholas Singleton | #10 | RB | 2025 | 6’0” | 227 lbs. | Penn State

Each year we see a few players have their NFL draft stock skyrocket during the pre-draft process as a result of explosive NFL combine performances. This year, I expect Penn State’s Nicolas Singleton to be one of those players. Since he arrived in Happy Valley, PA, the third-year running back has been an explosive weapon for the Nittany Lions. (When he’s on the field and fully healthy.) Unfortunately, Singleton has been injured more than anyone would like to see and, therefore, has been flying a little bit under the radar.

Once again, Singleton has spent part of the 2024 season nicked up and playing at less than 100%. The situation around his injury status has been murky—at best. So, it’s hard to say if we will see a fully-healthy Nicolas Singleton at any point for the rest of the year. However, I expect his elite athleticism to be on full display at the NFL combine. He is currently ranked as my RB5 in the 2025 NFL Draft class.

Ashton Jeanty | #1 | RB | 2025 | 5’9” | 215 lbs.

One player that is doing anything but flying under the radar is Boise State’s Ashton Jeanty. He has been flirting with single-season rushing record pace and is the Heisman frontrunner. Jeanty does everything you could want from a running back in today’s NFL. While we don’t often see running backs taken in the first round of the NFL draft, my No. 1 ranked RB has a good chance of being an outlier. Jeanty has a primetime Friday night game to show the country why he deserves to be taken on Day 1 of the NFL Draft.

UNLV

Ricky White III | #11 | WR | 2025 | 6’1” | 190 lbs.

If you’re watching this game, be sure to keep your eyes on number 11 when the Rebels have the ball. Ricky White III is one of the less-known 2025 NFL Draft prospects, but you’ll want to remember his name. For all the attention that Ashton Jeanty will have in this game (deservedly so), White may be the fastest player on the field. He’s creeping his way up my wide receiver rankings, currently sitting at WR12.

Saturday Afternoon NFL Draft Prospects

Nebraska @ #4 Ohio State

Dylan Raiola | #15 | QB | 2027 | 6’3” | 230 lbs.

We still have several years before Dylan Raiola can become an NFL Draft prospect, but what we have seen so far is encouraging. The true freshman has led the Cornhuskers to an impressive, 5-2 record. However, he and the entire Nebraska offense struggled last week against Indiana. While I don’t expect this week to be different, I am eager to see how Raiola looks against one of the best defenses in the Big 10.

#4 Ohio State

TreVeyon Henderson | #32 | RB | 2025 | 5’10” | 208 lbs.

After struggling earlier in the year, TreVeyon Henderson is coming off his best game of the season in Ohio State’s one-point loss to Oregon. Henderson is currently the No. 2 running back among my 2025 NFL Draft prospects. You can read a full analysis here.

Quinshon Judkins | #1 | RB | 2025 | 6’0” | 219 lbs.

Conversely, Quinshon Judkins is coming off his worst game—by far—of the 2024 season against Oregon. He only managed 23 yards rushing on 11 attempts. Right now, Judkins is the third-highest ranked running back among my 2025 NFL Draft prospects. You can read a full analysis here.

Emeka Egbuka | #2 | WR | 2025 | 6’1” | 205 lbs.

To date, Emeka Egbuka has quietly had a spectacular start to the 2024 season. He tallied 10 more receptions for 93 yards and a score in Ohio State’s last game. Egbuka is currently the No. 4 wide receiver among my 2025 NFL Draft prospects. You can read a full analysis here.

Jeremiah Smith | #4 | WR | 2027 | 6’3” | 215 lbs.

Someone you won’t find in my 2025 NFL Draft prospects rankings is Jeremiah Smith. That’s because he’s a true freshman. The No.1 overall recruit has not disappointed in his first year. Smith currently leads Ohio State in yards receiving and touchdown receptions despite having eight fewer catches than team-leading Emeka Egbuka. As with all the 2027 draft-eligible prospects, there’s a long time before he’ll be dynasty relevant, but Smith is must-watch TV.

#21 Missouri @ #15 Alabama

Luther Burden III | #3 | WR | 2025 | 5’11” | 208 lbs.

Outside of his game against Boston College, Luther Burden III has been held to rather pedestrian numbers in 2024. This week, he may be without his starting quarterback Brady Cook who suffered an ankle injury last week. Burden is currently the No. 3 wide receiver among my 2025 NFL Draft prospects. You can read a full analysis here.

Theo Wease Jr. | #1 | WR | 2025 | 6’2” | 192 lbs.

The other name on this Tigers’ team to know is Theo Wease Jr. He’s in his sixth season after struggling to stay healthy for much of his collegiate career. So far in 2024, he is slightly outpacing Burden’s production as the top receiver for Missouri. However, Wease’s ceiling is not at the same level as his teammate. At this point, I expect Wease will be drafted sometime on the final day of the NFL Draft but could sneak into the later part of Day 2 with a strong finish to the season.

#7 Alabama

Jalen Milroe | #4 | QB | 2025 | 6’2” | 225 lbs.

After a few rough performances in a row where he threw 3 touchdowns and 5 interceptions while only completing 64.1% of his passes, Jalen Milroe could use a bounce-back week. While the entirety of the blame for Alabama’s 1-2 record during that span is not on Milroe’s shoulders, he didn’t perform well when he was needed the most. I have had Milroe as one of my fringe 1st Round NFL Draft prospects and the last few weeks have helped solidify that standing. Therefore, he sits at QB5 in Tier 2 of my rankings.

Ryan Williams | #2 | WR | 2027 | 6’0” | 175 lbs.

This article (and many others) has plenty of time to discuss the 2027 NFL Draft prospects, but you can be certain that Ryan Williams and the aforementioned freshman phenom from Ohio State, Jeremiah Smith are going to be at the forefront of the rankings. At 17-years old, Ryan Williams is 13th in the entire nation in yards receiving. His production has been nothing short of astounding this year.

Saturday Evening NFL Draft Prospects

Florida State @ #6 Miami

Cam Ward | #1 | QB | 2025 | 6’2” | 223 lbs.

This game isn’t quite the clash of titans that we hoped it would be before the season started, but it should still be on your radar. While FSU has crashed and burned in 2024, Miami has miraculously managed to enter this rivalry game unscathed in the loss department. Their Heisman hopeful Cam Ward is chiefly responsible for Miami’s success. Ward is leading the nation in passing and has jumped up a spot to QB2 in my most recent quarterback rankings.

Xavier Restrepo | #7 | WR | 2025 | 5’10” | 198 lbs.

One of Ward’s favorite targets this year is Xavier Restrepo. He is leading the team in all receiving categories though the first eight weeks. Restrepo is currently the 10th overall wide receiver among my 2025 NFL Draft prospects. You can read a full analysis here.

Saturday Night NFL Prospects

Cincinnati @ Colorado

Saturday, 10/26 | 10:15 PM ET | ESPN

Cincinnati

Xzavier Henderson | #8 | WR | 2025 | 6’3” | 200 lbs.

Cincinnati has not received much national attention this year, but one of the 2025 NFL Draft prospects you should know is Xzavier Henderson. This game will be a great opportunity for Henderson to play for a large audience as the Bearcats travel to Boulder for a matchup against the Buffs. Henderson is in Tier 4 of my 2025 wide receiver rankings.

Colorado

Shedeur Sanders | #2 | QB | 2025 | 6’2” | 215 lbs.

One of the most confounding NFL Draft prospects is Shedeur Sanders. He has the NFL Draft community split—will he will be drafted near the beginning of the 2025 NFL Draft, or is he closer to a Day 2 prospect. More confusing still, both sides tend to point to the same thing (how long he holds onto the ball) as his “major concern.”

I am firmly an early-on-Day 1 believer. Sanders may not have a cannon for an arm, but he is able to make every throw on the field. He throws with great accuracy and anticipation. But, what sets him apart from the other QBs is his playmaking ability. Shedeur Sanders is still QB1 in my Quarterback Rankings.

Travis Hunter | #12 | WR | CB | 2025 | 6’1” | 185 lbs.

Travis Hunter suffered a shoulder injury against Kansas State and played only half of last week’s game against Arizona. So, I will be watching closely to see how he looks against Cincinnati. One of the biggest questions I’ve had about Hunter is his durability, so how he performs is important.

As I have said before, I have Hunter as my WR1 in this class and would have him as CB1 if I ranked defensive players. He’s not a perfect prospect by any means, but his unique ability to play both sides of the ball puts him in rare air. Before you accuse me of homerism, ESPN’s Mel Kiper has Travis Hunter ranked as the No. 1 overall prospect in the 2025 NFL Draft.
