Hey Nerds! After an exciting start to the season, some players’ fantasy stock is on the rise due to increased performance, injury opportunities, or recent trades. Meanwhile, others’ have fallen due to poor performance, injuries, or recent trades. In this article, we dive into some fantasy trade advice for the top player targets heading into Week 11 of the 2024 NFL season.
Fantasy Trade Advice | Quarterbacks To Target For Playoff Run
Baker Mayfield | Nerds #44 | 22.0 FPPG | QB3 FPPG | 2025 1st and 2nd
If you need a quarterback for your playoff push, look no further than Baker Mayfield. Mayfield is quietly the QB3 on the season for FPPG. Mayfield has had a career resurgence in Tampa Bay and is currently tied with Lamar Jackson for the league lead in touchdowns. Mayfield’s 192 rushing yards are also a career high.
The end-of-season schedule is fantastic for Mayfield with games against the Las Vegas Raiders, New York Giants, New Orleans Saints, Dallas Cowboys, and two games against the Carolina Panthers.
Sam Darnold | Nerds #120 | 17.9 FPPG | QB1 FPPG | 2025 Mid 2nd
If the price is too steep to obtain Baker Mayfield, Sam Darnold would be a great option to pivot to. After an extremely hot start to the season, Darnold has cooled off a little bit. However, Darnold is still playing in a very fantasy-friendly offense in Minnesota and has playmakers like Justin Jefferson, T.J. Hockenson, and Jordan Addison.
Darnold still has some positive matchups on the schedule including games against the Arizona Cardinals, Atlanta Falcons, and Seattle Seahawks. While it may not be in Minnesota, Darnold also appears to have solidified himself a starting role in 2025. There will be plenty of teams in need of a quarterback.
Fantasy Trade Advice | Running Backs To Target For Playoff Run
Christian McCaffrey | Nerds #53 | 16.7 FPPG | RB11 FPPG | 2025 1st and 2nd/3rd
If you are serious about winning a championship, then it’s time to spend for Christian McCaffrey. It is quite possible that the McCaffrey manager is out of the playoff picture and may be looking to recoup some value. I don’t need to explain the value that McCaffrey brings to your team, but trading for him is a league-winning move. Let’s evaluate some recent trades through the Dynasty GM.
McCaffrey is going for a 2026 1st in these two offers. I would be comfortable sending a mid-to-late 2025 1st as well as a 2nd or 3rd round pick.
Aaron Jones | Nerds #114 | 15.0 FPPG | RB19 FPPG | 2025 Early 2nd
If you can’t afford the price on McCaffrey, can I interest you in Aaron Jones? Jones managers were a little nervous when they saw a notification that Aaron Jones was carted off the field in Week 10 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Fear not, Jones was diagnosed with a chest injury, and it does not appear to be a severe injury.
The same information I provided for Sam Darnold applies for Jones. Jones has double-digit fantasy performances in all but two games played this year, and in one of those games, he left early due to injury.
Fantasy Trade Advice | Wide Receivers To Target For Playoff Run
Mike Evans | Nerds #103 | 13.6 FPPG | WR28 FPPG | 2025 Early 2nd
It is time to start making those moves for that playoff push. If you need a wide receiver, I would be targeting Mike Evans. Evans should return to the Tampa Bay lineup in Week 12 which comes after their bye week. Tampa desperately needs Evans to return as their wide receiver corp lacks the dominant presence that Evans brings.
While Mike Evans was in the lineup for Tampa Bay, he posted three top-10 finishes in the five games he completed this season. Before Evans suffered his injury in Week 7, he was 18th in FPPG. Tampa has some fantastic matchups late in the year, including games against the Las Vegas Raiders, New York Giants, and two games against the Carolina Panthers.
DeAndre Hopkins | Nerds #148 | 5.9 FPPG | WR57 FPPG | 2025 Mid to Late 2nd
If you are not able to acquire Mike Evans, another player to target is DeAndre Hopkins. Since joining the Chiefs in Week 7 after a trade with the Tennessee Titans, Hopkins has led all Chiefs wide receivers in targets, receptions, receiving yards, and touchdowns.
This may be the final run for Hopkins’ fantasy relevance as he provides something that the Kansas City offense appeared to be missing. At 32 years old, the window on Hopkins’ career is closing. His arrival in Kansas City has proved very profitable for the Chiefs and his fantasy managers.
Fantasy Trade Advice | Tight Ends To Target For Playoff Run
George Kittle | Nerds #70 | 17.6 FPPG | TE1 FPPG | 2025 1st + 2nd
If you are going to acquire a tight end to go for a championship, go big! And go for the TE1 currently. George Kittle has been an absolute monster this year for fantasy managers finishing as a top-12 tight end in every game this season. He will not come cheap, but if you need an upgrade at the position, Kittle should be your focus—especially in tight end premium leagues.
Travis Kelce | Nerds #105 | 13.3 FPPG | TE3 FPPG | 2026 1st or 2027 1st
If the price is too steep to obtain George Kittle, shake it off and focus on Travis Kelce. It was a rough start to the season for Kelce, but since Week 4, he has been “the one.” Kelce has seen double-digit targets in five of his last six games and has become an antihero to opposing fantasy managers.
Be fearless, and don’t leave a blank space on your roster—acquire Kelce. It will be a cruel summer if you don’t.
