Hey Nerds! After an exciting start to the season, some players’ fantasy stock is on the rise due to increased performance, injury opportunities, or recent trades. Meanwhile, others’ have fallen due to poor performance, injuries, or recent trades. In this article, we dive into some fantasy trade advice for the top player targets heading into Week 7 of the 2025 NFL season.
Fantasy Trade Advice | Players To Trade For
Zay Flowers 📈 | Nerds #66 | 13.7 FPPG | WR18 FPPG | 2025 1st +
The pass catcher to roster from Baltimore is no longer Mark Andrews, it’s Zay Flowers. Flowers is currently tied for 11th in the NFL in targets with 48. Flowers is coming off a career day against the Washington Commanders where he had 9 receptions and 132 receiving yards which was a career high.
Flowers is coming off back-to-back 100-yard performances and now gets the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who rank 29th in passing yards allowed. Proper fantasy trade advice says now is the time to acquire Flowers, as his price will only continue to rise.
Tyrone Tracy Jr. | Nerds #171 📈 | 8.0 FPPG | RB9 FPPG | Two 2025 2nds
In Week 5, Tyrone Tracy Jr stepped in for an injured Devin Singletary and looked great. Tracy Jr. rushed for 129 yards and finished the week with 14.0 fantasy points. Tracy Jr. was a fifth-round rookie selection and converted wide receiver.
In Week 6, Tracy Jr. found his way into the endzone and showcased his receiving game usage, catching 6 passes for 57 yards on his way to a 22.7 fantasy point day finishing as the RB5 for the week. Even when Singletary returns, Tracy Jr. has carved out a role in the offense.
Jakobi Meyers | Nerds #163📈 | 12.1 FPPG | WR39 FPPG | 2025 Mid 2nd
The reunification of Davante Adams and Aaron Rodgers is complete. Las Vegas sends the six-time Pro-Bowler to New York in return for a 2025 conditional third-round pick. The trade of Davante Adams to the New York Jets makes the Raiders wide receiver room depleted of talent.
However, this does open a buying window for Jakobi Meyers. Meyers now becomes the No. 1 option in the wide receiver’s room. While Adams was absent from the Raiders lineup, Meyers saw target shares of 59% and 50% of the wide receiver targets.
Fantasy Trade Advice | Players To Trade Away
Cole Kmet | Nerds #146📈 | 12.2 FPPG | TE3 FPPG | 2025 Early 2nd
In the world of dynasty fantasy football, player values can change quickly. After a Week 1 performance where Kmet saw 1 target, my fantasy trade advice was to hold on Kmet. Let’s fast forward to 5 weeks later where Kmet has had double-digit fantasy performances in 4 of his last 5 games. Kmet finished Week 6 with a 22.30 fantasy point finish.

Kmet entered Week 6 with a 63% route share, a 17.3% target share, 2.54 YPRR, and a 17.9% first-read share since Week 3 per Fantasy Pros. With the current landscape of tight ends, a tight end with a pulse is nearly a viable option. Kmet is a surefire starter and provides excellent trade value.
Fantasy Trade Advice | Players You Need To Trade Away
Gabe Davis 📈 | Nerds #184 | 7.9 FPPG | WR60 FPPG | 2025 3rd
There is a famous phrase: fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me. I can’t help but think that phrase originated from a frustrated Gabe Davis manager. If you roster Davis, you know the roller coaster ride known as the Gabe Davis experiment. Davis had his best game of the season, posting five receptions for 45 yards and two touchdowns on a 23% target share (8).
This could easily be Davis’ best game of the season and the fantasy trade advice managers need to heed: use this game as a chance to trade Gabe Davis away. I would try to get a late 2025 2nd round pick, but would easily settle for a 2025 3rd round pick.
Travis Etienne | Nerds #58 📉 | 9.7FPPG | RB32 FPPG | 2025 Early 2nd
Hopefully, you read my Stock Up/Stock Down Week 5 article about Tank Bigsby’s stock being on the rise. Unfortunately, that has come at the downfall of Travis Etienne. Etienne’s snap count has continually decreased since Week 2 and Etienne is now battling multiple injuries.
It is hard not to imagine the Jaguars backfield becoming a committee at the very least when Etienne is back fully healthy. If Etienne doesn’t improve his play quickly, it may become increasingly difficult for the Jaguars’ coaching staff to justify keeping Bigsby out
Zamir White | Nerds #156 📉 | 4.5 FPPG | RB67 FPPG | 2025 3rd
Going into the 2024 NFL season, Zamir White was a popular “sleeper” among a lot of fantasy trade advice analysts. White ended his 2023 season with 100-yard rushing performances in 2 of his last 3 games.

The backfield was White’s for the taking with Josh Jacobs’ departure to the Green Bay Packers. Unfortunately, White has been highly inefficient and is averaging only 4.5 FPPG. White is dealing with a groin injury that has caused him to miss the past two games and is also losing the passing down usage to his teammate Alexander Mattison. The 2025 running back draft class is loaded and I would not be shocked to see Las Vegas upgrade the position. Ashton Jeanty would look good in silver and black.
Mike Williams | Nerds #194📉 | 4.1 FPPG | WR89 FPPG | 2025 4th
The impact of the Davante Adams trade to the New York Jets hurts all the Jets pass catchers. Mike Williams takes the biggest hit possibly considering this trade, makes him borderline unplayable anymore.
Rodgers has chemistry with Davante Adams, Allen Lazard, and Garrett Wilson that never was established with Mike Williams. Add Breece Hall’s passing game usage and this trade makes Mike Williams the fifth option at best. I would use the news that the Jets are shopping Williams as a selling opportunity.
Fantasy Trade Advice | Players You Can Drop
Jacoby Brissett | Nerds #249📉 | 7.6 FPPG | QB33 FPPG |
The Drake Maye Era officially began in New England. Maye was announced the starter ahead of New England’s Week 6 matchup against the Houston Texans. Maye threw for 265 passing yards and 3 touchdowns. The 265 yards thrown by Maye was higher than any game of Brissett. Maye’s 3 touchdowns were higher than Brissett’s season-long passing total of 2. The fantasy trade advice for Brissett has reached an impasse now that Drake Maye has arrived.
For Brissett, he will now be regulated to backup duties. He led New England to a 1-4 win-loss record. Jacoby Brissett completed 58.5% of his passes for 696 yards with two touchdowns and an interception in 5 starts this season. With Brissett under center, New England ranked 31st in the league with 12.4 PPG and failed to score more than 20 points in a game. Unless you have Maye on your dynasty rosters, Brissett is safe to drop.
