Welcome to the Week 13 CheatChart. In this article, I provide an easy-to-use positional matchups table and highlight potentially exploitable matchups. If you’re curious about the process you can find a full introduction HERE where I lay out the methodology.
First, find YOUR PLAYER’S TEAM in the first Week 13 CheatChart column. Next, follow that line to THEIR POSITION’S column. That percentage is how much better or worse you can expect them to do compared to what they typically score.
Example: Let’s say you’re deciding between Alexander Mattison (RB-LV) and Xavier Legette (WR-CAR). For Mattison, find LV in the first column. Follow that row over to the RB column, and you’ll see his Week 13 CheatChart matchup is -34%. That’s an extremely negative matchup. Next, for Legette, find CAR in the first column. Follow that row over to the WR column, and you’ll see his positional matchup is 8%, which is a mildly positive matchup. Given both players are averaging about 9.5 points per game, I’d lean Legette.

Offensive Players to Target | Week 13 Positional CheatChart
Let Him Bake
Outside of two games, Baker Mayfield has been surprisingly consistent despite an alternating cast a receivers. This week he faces Carolina who has been giving up nearly a third more points to opposing quarterbacks. His concern this week is similar to last week, where the Buccaneers are favored by quite a bit so they could end up running the ball for most of the game. Despite that he still finished as QB9 last week without a touchdown. Consider him a must-start.
Positive and Negative Charges
Ladd McConkey and Quentin Johnston failed to impress in Week 12 with a good positional matchup. What they did with their limited opportunities were complete opposites. McConkey caught all of his 6 targets and went for 83 yards while Johnston failed to record a catch on 5 targets.
You can still trust McConkey as a WR2. While it’s hard to start Johnston after a goose egg, he can be considered a deeper flex option given this game has shootout potential. However with no teams on bye you can probably leave him on your bench.
Lions and Turkeys and Bears, Oh My!
Since losing Andrew Billings earlier in the season the Bears have had a hard time stopping the run. The implied game script says this will be a bountiful same for Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery, assuming the latter is able to suit up. Montgomery suffered a shoulder injury in Week 12 but is expected to play per head coach Dan Campbell.
Kraft Singles
While Tucker Kraft hasn’t seen the kind of volume you’d like from a streaming tight end he has an excellent positional matchup per the CheatChart and could see an increase in competition if Romeo Doubs is unable to clear concussion protocols.
Offensive Players to Avoid | Week 13 CheatChart
A Little Carr Trouble
Derek Carr is a volatile prospect for Week 13. He has a solid 47.5 point over/under on his game but the Rams have managed to limit opposing quarterbacks to 21% fewer points than average over the last 6 weeks. Carr lacks the rushing floor to make him a safer bet in a tough matchup. Treat him as a risky, lower-end QB2.
Chiefs Receivers Going Hungry
DeAndre Hopkins and Xavier Worthy both did well enough in Week 12, but have a tough spot in Week 13. The Chiefs are expected to win by a whopping 13 points according to the spread, so implied game script dictates they will run quite a bit.
But that line of the Week 13 CheatChart isn’t all red, Travis Kelce and Noah Gray have an advantageous matchup. Hopkins and Worthy will be left fighting for a small piece of leftover reception pie.
Black Friday Backfield Woes
The opposite side of the coin to Chiefs leading is the Raiders trailing. Aidan O’Connell is starting and will have his work cut out for him this week. While Ameer Abdullah has a chance to be fantasy-relevant with receptions, he’s no more than a flex play unless Zamir White and Alexander Mattison miss Week 13. If White and/or Mattison play the backfield split will be difficult to predict.
Nobody to Win in Giants vs Cowboys
Jake Ferguson has been unable to capitalize on what should have been an excellent run of matchups for tight end. Now he faces the Giants on Thanksgiving in what is not only a tough positional matchup but also has a terrible over/under on the game. There is very little touchdown upside on top of already limited volume. There are plenty of tight ends in the green of the CheatChart to look for when debating streaming options.

IDP Targets | Week 13 CheatChart
Sack Target Seattle
Quinnen Williams is a must-start in Week 13. He’s been sack-dependent again this year but he’s facing up against the Seahawks who have allowed Geno Smith to be sacked 37 times this year. On top of that the Jets are coming off a bye week so they’re well rested. Hassan Reddick hasn’t found his footing yet and can be safely left on your bench but consider Javon Kinlaw or Michael Clemons as deeper plays.
Deeper Play Dante
You’re starting Bobby Wagner and Frankie Luvu if you have them, that much is simple. If you need something a little less obvious then look to Dante Fowler if he’s dual eligible in your league. He’s coming off two rough weeks and might have hit waivers. He’s been very up-and-down this season but his matchup in Week 13 is worth starting as a high-upside option given the Titans have allowed 41 sacks so far this year.
Carolina’s Secondary More Complete
The Panthers secondary has looked better the last two games since the return of safety Jordan Fuller. Fuller is a likely available on waivers as is fellow safety Xavier Woods. Both are high-floor options in Week 13 despite having just a mildly positive positional matchup. Jaycee Horn is the bigger upside play, though he’s more likely to be rostered.

Team Trends | Week 13 CheatChart
Notable Rush Funnel Teams: Bengals, Lions, Rams, and 49ers
Pass Funnel Teams: Jaguars, Raiders, and Steelers
IDP Targets: The Titans and Seahawks are both top targets for DL/LB, especially when it comes to players who are able to get to the QB. The Browns and Bengals remain very good targets for DBs, and the Broncos and Patriots are also noteworthy targets.
