Jaren Hall- Concussion, Week to Week
This is likely the Joshua Dobbs show, regardless of Hall’s ability to work through the concussion protocol prior to Week 10’s matchup.
Daniel Jones- Torn ACL, Out for Season
The mechanism of injury for Daniel Jones was very typical of a non-contact ACL tear. He tried to play through this but fell to the ground on the next play. Ten months is the typical time frame for return from this type of injury. This puts Week 1 2024 possibly within range for a return date. This will likely be some of his first live-action, however. If he is ready by Week 1, expect him to have some rust and possibly be limited in his rushing abilities.

Cam Akers- Torn Achilles, Out for Season
This has to be it, right? Akers came back from tearing his right Achilles in 2021 to show some signs of life. He didn’t necessarily look as good as he did as a prospect, but he was able to provide some sell windows. He now tears his left Achilles. This has me wondering about a potential anatomical reason possibly predisposing him to these injuries, or perhaps a compensation still from his right Achilles tear—all speculation, of course. A free agent in 2024, Akers will try to latch on to an NFL team. This ride is likely over for dynasty managers.

Kendre Miller- Ankle Sprain, Week to Week
Miller is having imaging to determine the severity of an ankle sprain suffered during Sunday’s game against the Bengals. While Miller hasn’t shown much this year, it’s apparent that he has a knack for getting hurt.
Ja’Marr Chase- Back, Week to Week
Likely a back contusion, which is more of a pain tolerance/stiffness issue, Chase should be able to play through this injury. While we could still see a significant production dip, if he’s active, he should be in your lineup.
Treylon Burks and KJ Osborn- Concussion, Week to Week
We are seeing more teams this year keeping a concussed player out for at least one week. This is a notable trend, possibly the result of episodes of failed concussion management during the 2022 season. Both of these athletes suffered rather large hits and seemed to show some symptoms on the field. Burks and Osborn are likely out this week as they recover from their concussions.
Dallas Goedert- Fractured Forearm, 4-6 Weeks
Goedert fractured his forearm and will have surgery to repair it. He was placed on IR, so he is out for at least four weeks. Missing only four weeks is remarkable, especially after needing surgery to correct his fracture. I consider Goedert a risky play for fantasy playoffs and would advise you to look elsewhere upon his immediate return to action.
Slow-motion video of Eagles TE Dallas Goedert’s broken forearm injury. Appears Cowboys safety Marquese Bell attempted to twist Goedert’s arm and he also fell directly on it upon completion of the tackle.

Goedert is expected to miss multiple games.
