Jerry Jeudy has been in the league for three seasons and has yet to show off the value he was drafted in the first round of the 2020 draft. After rumors of being traded over the last year, Jeudy is heading into his fourth season looking to find the elite production we all were excited about. We dive deep into Jerry Jeudy’s dynasty value and what we could expect from him.
Recent Fantasy History
During Jeudy’s rookie season, he produced with Drew Lock as this quarterback. He had over 100 targets and 853 receiving yards in 2021. Jeudy had a poor catch rate of 53% and only two touchdowns which hurt his fantasy season. He did all this without veteran receiver Courtland Sutton during that season. In 2021, Jeudy came out strong in Week 1 with six receptions for 72 yards. Unfortunately, he suffered an injury missing the next seven games. He could not be a consistent fantasy receiver once he returned with Teddy Bridgewater as his quarterback. Jeudy had another terrible catch rate of 46% in 10 games that year. Jeudy dealt with inadequate quarterback play, minimal touchdowns, and poor catch rates.
In 2022, Jerry Jeudy’s had things looking up with the arrival of former All-Pro quarterback Russell Wilson. In the first half of the season, Jeudy continues to deal with his catching issues by having a 55% catch rate and four of these seven games over ten fantasy points. Jeudy was continuing to look like a low-end WR2 in fantasy. Jeudy would again deal with injuries and miss three games. In his return, Jeudy would have an impressive catch rate of 80% and have four of six games over ten fantasy points. He was on pace for over 1000 yards during those six games. He went on to be WR6 in those final six games. In one of those games, he would have a career game going over 150 yards and rushing for 39 yards. He also had more consistent play from Russell Wilson, which helped the cause.
Since his rookie season, Jeudy has been an excellent air yards receiver and in the top 12 deep targets in two of the three seasons. He hasn’t seen a lot of red zone targets in his times, so there are concerns with his touchdown upside. The big problem is the lack of red zone targets; he has had 18 over these three seasons. Jeudy’s yards after the catch as improved as well, ranking 16th in the league in 2022.

What can be different for Jerry Jeudy is the arrival of Sean Payton. In his 16 years in New Orleans, Sean Payton had 14 seasons with a top-12 passing offense in terms of yards. He also had 15 of those 16-seasons top 12 in passing touchdowns. Granted, he had Drew Brees for that tenure, but Russell Wilson is still a good quarterback. Fantasy owners hope Payton will give Wilson a resurgence in his career. An improved coaching scheme and the offensive line should give Wilson more time in the pocket to make throws, especially toward Jerry Jeudy.
The Broncos’ offense should open up with Tim Patrick and KJ Hamler returning from injury and Marvin Mim’s arrival, who can take the top off the defense. We are still determining what to make of the run game, as Javante Williams’s availability in 2023 is still being determined. That’s leaving Samaje Perine to be the primary back, but while good, he isn’t elite. The Broncos will have a problematic division, forcing them to throw the ball more often.
Dynasty Trade Values
- 2024 1st & 3rd for Jerry Jeudy
- 2023 1st for Jerry Jeudy & 2023 3rd
- Darnell Mooney, Evan Engram & Antonio GIbson for Jerry Jeudy
Here are some recent dynasty trades surrounding Jerry Jeudy over the last few days following the NFL draft. Due to his youth and his offense, late 2023 first is the closest thing to value for him. As a contending team, you’ll get more value for a championship run with Jerry Jeudy right now than drafting Zay Flowers or reaching for Jonathan Mingo or Rashee Rice. The trades above are decent offers for Jerry Jeudy; you must be in a contending mode to make the deal for Jeudy. The last trade in this list involving the players isn’t great to give up depth for Juedy.
To Sum it Up
In conclusion, Jerry Jeudy is a receiver I’d be looking to sell still in dynasty. I’d be looking for a 2024 first round for him at fair value. Jeudy’s upside is capped to a high WR2 in fantasy football. He still has question marks regarding his catching ability due to being a body catcher. I think the return of Tim Patrick could steal away targets from Jeudy. We haven’t seen Jeudy play an entire season in three years, so his missing time is likely. He is still a decent receiver that should put up respectable numbers in fantasy, as we’ve seen flashes of his production. The upside potential when he went in the top 15 at the 2020 NFL draft is less likely for his dynasty future.
