Declaration day is in the rearview mirror, and we are on to the all star game portion of the dynasty offseason. Last weekend, the NFLPA Bowl went off with a couple of deep dynasty players to watch– Malik Cunningham and Holton Ahlers. This week, we have the East/West Shrine game and the Senior Bowl.

Superflex Rookie Mock Draft 4.0 – Round 2

2.01 Josh Downs, WR 5’10” 175

North Carolina

The go-to wide receiver in that North Carolina offense, Josh Downs, is an explosive athlete and an easy separator. He’s also electric after the catch. The obvious concern here is his size, which will limit his upside at the next level. However, he can be a Tyler Lockett-type player at the next level. He’s at the top of my tier 2 of wide receivers in this class, and I think he presents good value here at the top of the second round. – @devy2dynastyFR

2.02 Kendre Miller, RB 6’0″ 214

TCU

Miller sat behind an earlier pick in this draft, Zach Evans, for a while before finally bursting onto the scene this season and showing off his talents. And I have to say, I love what I have seen. Miller is built like the prototypical NFL running back and shows off good vision and speed paired with very good contact balance. His ability to get yards after contact will make him a must-own at the next level, and I fully expect him to be a starting back for many years in the NFL. – @timbmartens

2.03 Michael Mayer, TE, 6’4″ 265

Notre Dame

Michael Mayer is going to be a top 20 pick in the NFL Draft.

21 Years Old with great college production- 180 receptions and 18 TDs at Notre Dame. Back to back 800 yard seasons.

I was torn between Tank Bigsby and Michael Mayer, but two things swayed me toward Mayer. First, the draft capital. Mayer is certain to be a first-round pick, whereas Bigsby will likely be a third-round pick or later. Second, Mayer has a higher upside at a bleak position. Mayer could easily be viewed as TE5 or higher if he has a productive rookie year. He’s a good blocker, which will keep him on the field; however, Mayer also has the receiving skills and athleticism to be a scoring threat. – @imbobbybish

2.04 Tank Bigsby, RB 6’0″ 208

Auburn

We have experienced textbook prospect fatigue with Bigsby. This is as strong of an RB6 as you will evaluate in any draft class. He has elite burst and footwork for someone at 6’0”, 213, and I’m thrilled to acquire him at this discount in rookie drafts. I think Bigsby possesses very good vision and power with impressive leg drive. I would like to see him get lower at the point of contact. Another concern is his involvement in the passing game, but I think he has good hands and can be effective. We’re talking about a running back with power, speed, and three-down potential; you can select him in the mid-second. Sign me up. – @FF_Hulsey

2.05 Zay Flowers, WR 5’9″ 182

Boston College

In the second round, I’m targeting two receivers, Josh Downs and Zay Flowers. With Downs off the board, I go to one of my favorite values in the class, Zay Flowers. Flowers dominated from the slot and looks to do the same in the NFL. At the moment, Flowers is projected in the second round, which is fantastic for a slot receiver. If a team buys into Flowers at this price point, I see him drawing a ton of targets at the NFL level leading to success. – @SteveBradshawFF

2.06 Zach Charbonnet, RB 6’1″ 220

UCLA

I am supremely shocked to see Charbs still here this late. I’m not sure how he got forgotten, but I’ll gladly take him as the RB7 overall. He’s a big back with impressive speed and size built for an every-down role on an NFL team. He had 14 touchdowns and an impressive 7 ypc with 1,359 rushing yards. He is the steal of the draft for me. – @DarthDbacks

2.07 Jalin Hyatt, WR, 6’0″ 175

Tennessee

Jalin Hyatt has been a fast riser for me as more and more rumors emerge of NFL teams having a first-round grade on him. Hyatt wins with elite acceleration and can immediately contribute to whatever NFL squad he lands on. If the first-round capital rumors are true, we could see him land on a team with a later pick, like the Bills or the Chiefs. Regardless of the landing spot, I will bet on the talent midway through the second round of a Superflex rookie draft. – @DanT_NFL

2.08 Hendon Hooker, QB 6’3″ 208

Tennessee

Hooker seems to be the forgotten man in the quarterback club after his knee injury. He was trending to be a Heisman finalist before the torn ACL. Hooker has good size, throws the ball well, and possesses plus mobility. He is an older prospect, pushing him down rankings, but I believe in the current quarterback climate, Hooker will have a chance to start once he is healthy. – @Culture_Coach

2.09 Israel Abanikanda, RB 5’11” 215

Pitt

It’s easy to like a guy when he puts up 1577 scrimmage yards his senior year plus another 228 on special teams. Israel Abanikanda isn’t the greatest up-the-gut runner in this class, but his acceleration is top-notch when he gets to that second level. His receiving could use refinement, but when he gets the ball through the air, he can turn it into huge gains. He has the legs of a dancer that are best showcased when he’s slipping through tackles, and if he can improve his vision, he very well could earn a three-down role. – @MonCalFF

2.10 Parker Washington

This Parker Washington catch has been in my head for over a year now. Another Penn State WR to potentially fall in love come draft time after Jahan Dotson last year

Things have thinned out just a bit at this point in the draft. I’m going to dip back into the wide receiver pool and select Penn State’s Parker Washington. He is a dynamic playmaker who is suited to the slot but has the speed to play on the perimeter. He should be a safe selection with a nice upside this late in the draft. –@ReflipeWThenuz

2.11 Devon Achane, RB 5’9″ 185

Texas A&M

Yeah, yeah. #smolboi. But Achane is a lock for Day 2 draft capital, and there’s not a more skilled rusher in this class. He’s not the pass-game dynamo that Gibbs is, but he’s plenty good there as well, and he managed a volume role just fine in college. I don’t project him as a workhorse, but I expect an immediate committee role and high efficiency. Think James Cook, but better. – @EKBaller

2.12 Kenny McIntosh, RB 6’1″ 210

Georgia

I’m going to stick true to my brand here for another week. Kenny McIntosh is the most undervalued skill position player in this upcoming draft. Nineteen touches for 175 yards and a touchdown in the CFB Playoffs weren’t enough to convince my fellow Nerds. McIntosh will never be a volume hog at the next level, but he is a versatile enough weapon to be a fantasy star on moderate volume. Bijan Robinson is a prize only one manager will be lucky enough to win, but the real strength of this draft is in the running back depth. McIntosh at 2.12 is evidence of that, and with Deuce Vaughn, Roschon Johnson, Eric Gray, Chase Brown, and Tyjae Spears just being a few of the runners remaining, surely there still will be RB value for managers well into the third round. – @DynastyOasis
