Week 5 had plenty of top 25 matchups, but many did not end up being close games. Georgia had a close call against Missouri, while Oklahoma’s defense had another bad week. Kansas survived against Iowa State and is still the season’s feel-good story. Let’s see who impressed and who disappointed in the Devy Stock watch for Week 5.
Stock Up
Jahmyr Gibbs- RB, Alabama
- Height- 5’11
- Weight- 200
- Draft Eligible- 2023
- Dynasty Nerds Ranking: OVR 10; RB 4
Jahmyr Gibbs has made his impact at Alabama, mostly in the receiving game coming into this week vs. Arkansas. He broke out in his first game with double-digit attempts and made the most of them. Gibbs showed his breakaway speed with two runs of over 70 yards that put the game out of reach. It will be interesting if Gibbs takes over more of the rushing attempts for Alabama the rest of the way.

Zay Flowers- WR, Boston College
- Height- 5’10
- Weight- 177
- Draft Eligible- 2023
- Dynasty Nerds Ranking: OVR 51; WR 17
The season has not started well for Boston College, and Zay Flowers has not been able to break out since Week 1 vs. Rutgers. He had three straight games under 100 yards, but against Louisville, he finally had another signature game. Flowers had two touchdowns over 50 yards, including one where he made a great catch between two defenders. Hopefully, this is a turnaround for quarterback Phil Jurkovec, and the offense can continue to flourish the rest of the year.

Quinshon Judkins- RB, Ole Miss
- Height- 5’11
- Weight- 200
- Draft Eligible- 2025
- Dynasty Nerds Ranking: Not Currently Ranked
Zach Evans is the more talked about running back for Ole Miss, but freshman Quinshon Judkins has been more productive this season. Judkins was just a 3-star prospect but has 3-100 yards games and has over 85 yards each game. Ole Miss had a big test vs. Kentucky and their top 60 rush defense. Judkins passed the test with a big game and is a player that should be kept on Devy radar.

Players To Keep Eye On
Tetairoa McMillan- WR, Arizona
- Height- 6’2
- Weight- 190
- Draft Eligible- 2024
- Dynasty Nerds Ranking: OVR 95; WR 33
Tetairoa was a top 50 recruit and the fifth-ranked wide receiver in the 2022 class, according to 247 sports. He had the best game of his freshman season against Colorado. He has caught at least three catches in four out of five games. McMillan has the third highest amount of targets on the team and a 19% target share, which is a good sign for a young player. He has the highest average depth of target for Arizona and is a player to watch if he can start to get more consistent in his production this season.

Dorian Thompson-Robinson- QB, UCLA
- Height- 6’1
- Weight- 205
- Draft Eligible- 2023
- Dynasty Nerds Ranking: Not Currently Ranked
Dorian Thompson-Robinson is currently in his fifth year at UCLA, and before this year, his draft stock was low. He has been a good athlete but inconsistent in passing the ball. This year he has raised his completion percentage to 74.3%, which is much higher than his career 62.5%. Robinson had a huge game in the comeback victory against Washington. He needs to continue to show consistency this year, and if he does, he could move up to a Day 2 prospect.

Stock Down
Will Levis – QB, Kentucky
- Height- 6’1
- Weight- 200
- Draft Eligible- 2023
- Dynasty Nerds Ranking: OVR 39; QB 9
Will Levis has raised his completion percentage from last year but is still under 70%. The question I had was if he could be successful with Wandale Robinson gone to the NFL. He has good stats this season, but his three games over 300 yards were against lower competition. Against Florida and Ole Miss, he didn’t necessarily play poorly but did have costly turnovers. Some think Levis can be a first-rounder. To do that, he will have to play better and more consistently against tougher SEC competition.

Braelon Allen- RB, Wisconsin
- Height- 6’2
- Weight- 238
- Draft Eligible- 2024
- Dynasty Nerds Ranking: OVR 14; RB 6
Braelon Allen had a huge freshman season, and it looked like he would continue that after the 1st week of the season. Much of it is not Allen’s fault as the defense has keyed on the running game with the struggling Wisconsin pass game. In three out of the last four games, he has been held under 100 yards. I am not questioning Allen’s talent, but his high rating may come down if his production is slowed.
