We are coming to the close of the dynasty Christmas weekend. Did your favorite rookie land in a great spot? Or did they land somewhere that tanks their value in your eyes? Did the NFL draft throw your draft strategy into disarray? The Dynasty Nerds team is here with a rapid-reaction Mock Draft 6.0.
1QB Rookie Mock Draft 6.0 – Round 1
1.01 Marvin Harrison Jr., WR, 6’3″ 202lbs
Arizona Cardinals

For the first pick, I am taking the highest-upside skill player in the draft. Marvin Harrison Jr. is the total package. It is nearly impossible to poke holes in this prospect. He combines bloodlines with incredible athletic ability and game film. He also landed in an outstanding spot with an established quarterback needing an alpha wide receiver. When you are picking #1, you HAVE to hit, and Harrison is the closest thing to a sure bet you will ever find.
1.02 Malik Nabers, WR, 6’0″ 200lbs
New York Giants
Brock Bowers was really tempting here. Malik Nabers put up over 1500 yards and 14 touchdowns in 2023, vaulting him into contention to be the first wide receiver off the board. He has strong hands, is a smooth route runner, and is effective at all three levels of the field. He immediately steps into the WR1 spot for the Giants.
1.03 Brock Bowers, TE, 6’4″ 243lbs
Las Vegas Raiders
Bowers is in a great situation to get targets and be a playmaker. Davante Adams is the alpha, but Brock Bowers should be in line for 100+ targets, and whoever is the quarterback will lean on Bowers.
1.04 Rome Odunze, WR, 6’3″ 212lbs
Chicago Bears

Despite the crowded depth chart, Rome Odunze is still a cut above the rest of the players remaining in a 1QB league. Unless several things go south in Chicago, you’re drafting a talented wide receiver taken in the top ten tied to a first-overall quarterback until at least 2029. He’s worth the pick, worth the wait.
1.05 Xavier Worthy, WR, 5’11” 165lbs
Kansas City Chiefs
Xavier Worthy has one of the highest upsides in the 2024 draft. Pairing him with Patrick Mahomes immediately improves his stock value. With his speed and route running, Worthy could easily outproduce his 1.05 draft capital. He should fill the downfield threat the Chiefs have been searching for since the Tyreek Hill trade. Draft Worthy with extreme confidence going into the 2024 season.
1.06 Jonathon Brooks, RB, 6’0″ 216lbs
Carolina Panthers
The Panthers have been searching for an answer at running back since trading away Christian McCaffrey, and I believe they’ve found it in Jonathon Brooks. Last year, Brooks ascended to 1425 total yards and 11 touchdowns across just 11 games before tearing his ACL. While he might get a slow start due to the recovery from that injury, he has the size and skills to become a workhorse back. Not only is he reliable on the ground, but he’s a fluid receiver with solid pass protection who could find himself on the field for all three downs.
1.07 Trey Benson, WR, 6’0″ 216lbs
Arizona Cardinals
Many analysts RB1 lands in Arizona. James Conner is in the final year of his contract and only has a $4.5 mil dead cap hit should the Cardinals decide to move on this year. Trey Benson is likely to split time with Conner this year but it will be wheels up in 2025.
1.08 Ladd McConkey, WR, 6’0″ 186lbs
Los Angeles Chargers

After the first few wide receivers, Ladd McConkey is a crazy value. Justin Herbert throws him the ball, and he’s the 1A. McConkey could get 150 targets. With his second-round capital and landing spot, he should be considered much earlier.
1.09 Keon Cleman, WR, 6’3″ 213lbs
Buffalo Bills
Buffalo has a new WR1 receiver. Keon Coleman was drafted with the first pick in the second round and fills a large void after Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis left this offseason. He steps in as the new favorite for Josh Allen and will be given a lot of leeway to correct the deficiencies in his game. He has the basics to develop into a true #1 receiver in the game. I love the landing spot for Coleman.
1.10 Caleb Williams, QB, 6’1″ 214lbs
Chicago Bears
Despite quarterbacks being less valuable in 1QB leagues, this is still a steal for Caleb Williams. He is the best quarterback in the draft and has the best quarterback landing spot. He will be throwing to DJ Moore, Keenan Allen, Rome Odunze, and Cole Kmet. I can’t see how he can fail.
1.11 Ricky Pearsall, WR 6’0″ 186lbs
San Francisco 49ers
Ricky Pearsall refusing to go out of bounds and get extra YAC has to be one of the qualities the 49ers loved about his game. Fits the culture of 49ers WRs. pic.twitter.com/SqJLAT8lLn
— John Chapman (@JL_Chapman) April 26, 2024
Ricky Pearsall lands himself in the first round of rookie drafts. There is still a chance that Deebo Samuel or Brandon Auyik will get traded at some point. Pearsall has some interesting skills that fit the 49ers culture. He could battle Juaun Jennings for the third spot on the team. The 49ers are a team where you want to draft players from their team. Even if Ricky Pearsall‘s value is smaller in 2024, he should have an expanded role in 2025.
1.12 Brian Thomas Jr., WR, 6’3″ 209lbs
Jacksonville Jaguars
Brian Thomas Jr. being drafted 23rd overall by the Jaguars cemented him as a backend pick in 1QB leagues. His size and speed combination will make him hard to defend in the NFL. He has the tools and the ability to become a red zone target for the Jaguars, which is a need in their offense. He will slide in as the Jaguars WR2/3 to start his NFL career but could be their best wide receiver before his rookie season is over. He has the upside of being a perennial low-end WR1 or high-end WR2 in fantasy football.
